NEW ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS

Practicing spiritual disciplines is an ancient tradition passed down for generations to experience a deeper, interactive walk with God through Jesus Christ. The critical need in Christianity today is for Christians to walk humbly and deeply with God. Many churches major on programs but do not teach deep spirituality. 
This Bible study, starting May 23rd, 2021 at 10:45 in the Green Room at Grace Church Kelseyville, is designed to teach the basic spiritual disciplines to everyday Christians, so they can enjoy the intimacy with God they were created for. 
So, if a close fellowship with God is something you long for, then this Bible study is for you. Learn how to connect with God with true intimacy by practicing the spiritual disciplines.
To help us in our study we will be using much of the wisdom from Dr. Gil Stieglitz' book Spiritual Disciplines of a C. H. R. I. S. T. I. A. N.  We will unpack the word CHRISTIAN to identify nine spiritual disciplines essential in a program of intensive training in Christian spirituality prerequisites for developing a deeper relationship with God. 
Practicing the disciplines outlined in our Bible study will require change in the participant and guide them into a new awareness of the presence of God throughout their life and in their spiritual journey.
