What's New At Grace

Women's Retreat!

9/26/2022

Ladies, are you ready for a weekend away at the coast? Are you ready to worship God, be challenged by time in the Word, spend time in prayer, share laughs, play games, make new friends, and get some time to relax?  This year we hope you can do all these things and we have attempted to create a flexible schedule to assist you to get away and get refreshed. Each year we attempt to create an environment welcoming to all women.

Women’s Retreat is only one month away. This year we will focus on becoming more like Christ. This process is sometimes easier said than done but that is why we have other ladies to help us in the process. If you are on the fence about coming to Women’s Retreat, we encourage you to come. It is a great time of getting to know other ladies within the church and is hopefully a time that will uplift your spirit. We have a desire to see acquaintances turned into friendships and for friends to become sisters.

Common questions you may have

Where is Albion?
Albion Field Station is just about 2 hours away from Lake County. The location sits next to the Albion River which is about 15 minutes south of Mendocino and about 30 minutes south of Fort Bragg.

How do I get there, and do we drive together? Women drive themselves to Albion. However, many will arrange carpooling, and others have extra seats if you need a ride. Let us know if you need help getting there or if you are open to taking others with you.

Want to bring your High School daughter?
High school girls can come with their mother or guardian. Daughters must stay in the same room as their parent and activities must be supervised by their mother/guardian. We will have a separate small group for the high school girls. This is not a teen summer camp but can be an opportunity for you to demonstrate to your daughter how to worship and walk with Christ.

What is available to do during the free time on Saturday? Start talking to other ladies to find out what they are doing. We will coordinate activities based on interest.

How can I help? Contact Pastor Brent and he will be happy to get you involved.

If cost is the only issue, please contact Pastor Brent before deciding you cannot come.
