Praying For Our Kids

It's that time of year when our kids prepare to return to school. For some, it brings emotions of excitement, to others it strikes fear in their hearts, and others a sense of contentment to be with friends again. No matter what, one thing is for sure: all of our precious kids need our prayers!

Thank God first for creating your child, and reflect on how he/she is an essential part of His plan for the world. Pray for the strength to live faithfully even when it is difficult. Ask God to help him/her start their faith journey with Him and also to finish well. Ephesians 2:10 says: "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them."

The power of prayer is so essential for the kids of Lake County including the kids of Grace Church. Today, whether you have kids in the area or not, take a moment to pray for our kids.
