Men's Retreat Recap

There is nothing like hearing a group of men singing at the top of their lungs to worship God. The entire hall echoed with voices of men who have given their lives to follow Jesus. Their song was accompanied by hearts of worship and desire to follow Jesus. It was the sound of a great battle cry of men standing before the Great King. It was the sound of repentant and transformed hearts seeking to obey God’s commands. It was the sound of strong and firm commitment to God to lead homes under His authority. The Holy Spirit was active this weekend drawing hearts to Him, searching souls, and reminding men of the great Truths in Scripture. 

Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. 5 Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; 6 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

​We had over 60 men come out to Albion Field Station this year. The time was filled with games, great food, relaxation, prayer, worship, mutual encouragement, and teaching. During free time men spent the day golfing, hiking, mini-golf, kayaking, fishing, playing beach games (wiffle ball, volleyball, football, frisbee), board games and card games, and others got rest.
