"Go"

The word “Go” is such a powerful word. It can send 100’s of kids running towards a finish line, it can spur the greatest athletes into action. The word “Go” is often followed by the squeal of tires as they begin a race. The word “Go” can send a rocket to space. But the word “Go” has lost much of its power in the christian church. In Matthew 28:19 the Lord said “Go” and the book of Acts was born. But are we still spurred into action by this command from the Bible? The last command of Jesus Christ while He was here on Earth, given to all who would follow Him, begins with “Go”. So will we be spurred into action? Will we run in this race or will we leave it to others? During the Lake County Youth Conference I hope to answer this question and equip the students around the county to go into their school, to go to their friends, and to go wherever the Lord may lead them.
