1. Why do we even do it? This year's theme seems to say it all "To Shine Jesus's light". As a church, we recognize the importance of supporting families in raising their children with strong moral and spiritual values. Children's programs, like Vacation Bible School, often provide resources, guidance, and support for parents as primary educators in our Christian faith. They offer a space where parents can connect with other families, seek advice, and find encouragement in their journey of faith.
2. Outreach and Evangelism: Children's programs can also serve as a means of outreach and evangelism. By providing a welcoming environment for children and their families, we aim to attract new members to our congregation, where we can continue to share our faith and salvation with others. Outreach initiatives like vacation Bible schools or children's clubs can effectively introduce families to the church and its teachings on Christ and basic Godly living. 

 Still wondering how you can be involved with VBS? Here are some ways you can be a blessing:
We only need one more Elementary Crew Leader—escort and interact with 4 to 6 kiddos, taking them from on activity to the next. Starts at 5:10 nightly. No prep is necessary.
Substitute Elementary Crew Leaders—we could use 4 to 5 people willing to fill in for Crew Leaders who may be unable to make it on certain nights.
Decorating—we need help with hallways and stage to transform our church into an outer space adventure! If you can help for even a few hours, it would be appreciated! July 5th 1 to 4 p.m. July 6th 9 to 1 p.m.
Clean up crew—we need help getting things back to normal on the last night of VBS, Friday, July14th at 7:30 p.m.
PLEASE PRE-REGISTER your kids ASAP and invite a friend to bring. This really helps streamline the check-in process on the first night! Thank you!
