2022 Church Camping Trip Recap

We had a great time at Pamplin Grove this last week. We spent time relaxing under the Redwoods, worshiping around the campfire, praising God in the outdoors, playing games, riding bikes, swimming in the creek, and the kids enjoyed a scavenger hunt. Lots of great memories with friends and loved ones. 

This week we were reminded of God’s protection (tent/shelter) through Psalm 27, God’s mighty work of creation (sun, moon, and stars) through Psalm 8, the importance of teaching the next generation through Psalm 145, the dangers of our tongues (fire) through James 3, God’s glory being reflected in all creatures (animals) in Job 12, the importance of helping others (washing feet) in John 13, and relying on the Lord every step of the way (light to our path) in Psalm 119. 

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

​Even if you were not able to go camping this last week, I encourage you to spend some time considering the mighty works of God and praise Him for all that He is doing. God is good!
