You know it was a good Sunday when even the church business meeting was a thrill. Our church voted on budget and bylaw/constitution amendments and all items passed.
Christmas Giving
We introduced our Christmas Giving opportunities to the church and have already raised over $3,000 towards our goal for giving. Goal: $10,000 for 3 Angels Nepal (Lambs to rescue people from sex trafficking), $5,000- Open Arms Homeless Jackets.
Salvation
10 People raised their hands to give their lives to the Lord for the first time, and 8 came forward to say the prayer and be blessed by our elders and their wives. There truly is no greater joy, and the church does not get any better than that. The celebration for lost souls being found and the mix of emotions that come with it are truly special. The celebration and joy were so loud and lasted so long that I struggled to even lead us into the next part of our service. God is GOOD!!!
All Church Turkey lunch
It was as if God knew the work He was going to do this day, as we already had our church turkey potluck planned, and it turned out to be the perfect ending for celebrating what God had done that morning. Over 250 people stayed to join for lunch, and the church gym was filled with laughter, joy, warmth, and fellowship. Shannon Nickel took first place in the pie-making contest, and Kim Bridges took 2nd! Many left with full stomachs and smiles on their faces.

Need for continued prayer
If you are one of our prayer warriors, be praying for the maturing of the faith, for discipleship and baptism for those who came forward, and for more people to give their lives to the Lord. It is the best decision a person will ever make.
