This Summer was filled with so many exciting events. When the Lake County Parks Department called to see if we would be willing to run the activities for their event I wasn’t sure we would have the energy to engage in the way we would like. We had plenty of volunteers, people were full of energy, and the kids who participated were blessed.
Each child/student that attended was invited to join either Awana or Refuge. They were loved on by each of our volunteers and we cheered them on as they were seeking a day of fun and activities. How did we push the gospel forward? Our love for those we served was obvious, our invitations were heard and received, and our care for those were served was felt. Sometimes our testimony is not one of many words, but rather is in how we love others. I am hopeful that our time serving the kids of Lake County was just the beginning of our continued pouring of love and support to those who will hear the names Jesus or Grace Church and be filled with hope.
