More Than Candy: 2025 Trunk or Treat Was a Success!

Nov 6, 2025

What an incredible night! Our 2025 Trunk or Treat was a massive blessing, and we were absolutely thrilled to welcome well over 1,000 people onto our campus! The air was filled with laughter and excitement, by both volunteers and those visiting.

We were blown away by the effort our church family put into this event. We had nearly 50 vehicles participating, each one decorated with amazing creativity and loaded with candy.

It wasn’t just car trunks, either! We were honored to two fire trucks, an ambulance, and a sheriff’s vehicle. The kids (and adults!) also loved checking out the unique additions like a stagecoach, a race car, and even heavy equipment!

The fun didn’t stop there. Pastor Josh and his students did a fantastic job entertaining the kids with games, cotton candy, and other prizes. And a special congratulations to all the kids who won fishing rods and tackle in our raffle, which we held every 30 minutes!

Sharing the Good News

While the games were great and the candy was “sweet”, our main goal was to be a light to our community and share the love of Jesus. And in that, the night was a powerful success.

This event was a massive outreach effort. As families walked through, they received much more than candy:

  • Personal Invitations were given to join us for a Sunday service.
  • Gospel flyers and tracts were handed out.
  • Families learned about our mid-week programs, with invitations to AWANA for kids and REFUGE for teenagers.
  • We were blessed to partner with the Gideons, who were on-site handing out Bibles in both English and Spanish.

By the end of the night, over 400 Bibles were given to families, and our volunteers had many incredible conversations about faith and the hope we have in Christ.

A Huge Thank You!

An event of this scale is only possible with many hands. To every single person who decorated a trunk, directed parking, handed out a flyer, prayed with a visitor, or served with a joyful heart, THANK YOU! Your hard work made this wonderful night of fun and ministry possible.

If you joined us for Trunk or Treat and were visiting for the first time, we want to say a special welcome. We hope you felt the love of this church family, and we would be honored to see you again soon!
