Gentlemen, it’s time to register for Men’s Retreat! Are you ready to escape the daily grind, breathe in the fresh coastal air, and connect with God and other men on a deeper level? Join us for an awesome weekend at our Men’s Retreat 2025!
Come out to the cool, beautiful coast for a great time to get away from the regular routine for an incredible time of refreshment, camaraderie, making new friends, and worshiping our great God. Men’s Retreat is a special time of year, where we take two nights away to sharpen each other as iron sharpens iron and share a few laughs along the way.
This year, our theme is “Search Me, O God,” inspired by Psalm 139:23. We are taking a unique approach to our sessions. Instead of a single guest speaker, you will have the privilege of hearing honest testimonies from a diverse group of men from right here in our own church family. It’s a chance to see how God is working in the lives of the men you see every Sunday.
Here are the essential details you need to know:
- Theme: Search Me, O God (Psalm 139:23)
- When: September 5-7, 2025
- Where: Albion Field Station
- Cost: $90 per person. Sign up early! The price increases to $100 after August 24.

Never been to Men’s Retreat? What should I expect?
Each evening and morning, we will gather for a session featuring a challenge from God’s Word, moving testimonies, and a time of worship through singing. Following the evening sessions, you’ll have the opportunity for short small group gatherings to discuss what you’ve heard, followed by a delicious dessert. And speaking of food, we know it’s important to us guys, so rest assured, we will make sure there’s plenty of it!
Saturday is your day. You’ll have a large block of free time to spend doing whatever recharges you. Available activities include:
- Kayaking on the Albion River
- Relaxing at Big River Beach
- Exploring nearby Fort Bragg
- Playing a round of golf
- Ocean kayaking (bring your own kayak)
- Fishing
- Or simply taking it easy and enjoying the peace at the station.
What are the rooms like?
Each room has its own private bathroom and shower and can accommodate up to four men. If you prefer the great outdoors, you can bring a tent to camp near the river or bring an RV. To reserve your spot and choose your roommates, please use the sign-up sheets at the church. If you plan on tenting or bringing an RV, please contact us ASAP so we can ensure a spot is available for you with the Field Station.
Can I bring my son?
Yes! Dads, you are welcome and encouraged to bring your high school-aged sons. This is a fantastic discipleship opportunity. We ask that you room together and that dads supervise their sons’ activities at all times. We will aim to have a separate small group for high schoolers to allow the men’s groups to be a safe environment for transparency. Please be mindful that quiet hours will be enforced.
How can I help?
An event like this takes many hands to be successful. If you’d like to help with the Sunday registration table, setup, cooking, dishes, or something else, we would be grateful for your service. Please contact Pastor Brent, and he will be happy to get you involved.
How do I get there?
Men are responsible for their own transportation to Albion. However, carpooling is highly encouraged! Many men will be arranging rides together, and some will have extra seats. If you need a ride or are willing to drive others, please let us know. We want to make sure everyone who wants to come can get there.
Sign up today! We can’t wait to see you there!
