Men, are you ready for another fantastic year at the coast? This year promises an amazing time of fellowship, delicious food, diving into God’s Word, worship, and fun games.
Our annual retreat aims to challenge men to grow in their faith and understanding of God. This year, our theme is QUALIFIED. Rick Conrad will deliver a message from Ephesians, guiding us on how to be qualified for the work of ministry. We hope to see hearts transformed, new commitments made, rededications, renewed purpose, and encouragement to persevere.
In addition to the teaching sessions, we provide ample space for men to connect in small groups. These groups offer opportunities to discuss lessons learned, confess sins, pray together, and find refreshment. The Men’s Retreat is an ideal time to escape life’s busyness and distractions, allowing you to refocus and reprioritize.
Our sessions will begin with worship through singing, led this year by Eric Schlange, who will help direct our hearts and minds toward the Heavenly throne. If you’ve never experienced a men’s retreat before, you’re in for a treat. There’s nothing quite like hearing a group of men lifting their voices in praise to God.
On Saturday, between the morning session and dinner, you’ll have free time to enjoy various activities. At Albion, you can kayak up the Albion River with the available kayaks or bring your own to explore the Van Damme ocean caves. Some men bring golf clubs to enjoy a round at a local course. Others head to Big River Beach for games or relaxation. You might also choose to fish in Albion River or at a nearby beach, visit Fort Bragg for lunch and sightseeing, or simply rest, take a nap, or play board games at Albion Field Station. Whatever you choose, you’re sure to have a great time. Talk to other guys beforehand to plan your activities.
Whether you’re eager to join in all the activities or just want to relax, we invite you to join us.
