Love Life

Jul 30, 2026

It is a scary thing to think back to a time of how we learned about love.  Some of us were taught by our parents/grandparents, others learned from the movies and some even learned from their friends or by watching those live life around them.

It is crazy to me that such an important topic is not discussed often at church at all.  About a year ago God placed this on my heart and I began to look at where we could fit in the topic of dating/relationships in on a Sunday.  Great News!  We will be talking about what the Bible says about dating and relationships starting Aug. 9th.  The series will be titled: Love Life.  We don’t have to go to the movies or to the world to learn about love and relationships.  We can go directly to the best source, God’s word.   As I was dreaming about how to address this topic as a church, a pastor that I listen to also covered the same topic at his church and they were deeply blessed and challenged.

If you are in a dating relationship…want to be in a dating relationship…hope to someday be in a dating relationship…then this series is for you!

If you are parents, grandparents, or people who love to help others…come and learn how you can help others navigate being in a godly relationship and support them as they do things God’s way instead of the way of the world.

Almost all of us have seen a relationship blossom and we truly supported the people and the way they honored each other and God.  What a day the wedding was to celebrate this couple.  We have also witnessed people who struggle in this area and they choose the wrong way and the wrong people.  The results are devastating.  If you are already married, or happily single, come and listen so you can help guide people as they navigate relationships and meet them with biblical, godly advice.

Here is a little teaser for you…

There are two plans you can follow when looking at being in a relationship.

First, Gods plan.  Gods plan is that you would be deeply blessed in your dating relationship and HE shows us how to do that in His word (the Bible).

Second, the Devil’s plan.  He aims to steal, kill and destroy you and relationships are one of the ways he does this.  He would want you to ignore God’s plan and look to the world and the cravings of your flesh to guide you through this relationship.

Which plan are you working with?  Come and find out more starting Aug. 9th at Grace Church Kelseyville.  Services at 9am and 10:45am.
