As followers of Christ, our calling is clear: we are commissioned to preach the Gospel to all people and teach them everything God has commanded. The mission to share the hope of Jesus Christ does not take a night off, and neither should we.
As a church, we do not celebrate Halloween, nor do we approve of the darkness and evil often highlighted on October 31st. Instead, we believe that whenever darkness is celebrated in our culture, the Church should shine all the brighter. When the world leans into shadows, our doors should be wide open to celebrate the living God. Our annual Trunk or Treat is designed to provide local families with a safe, joy-filled place where they can experience genuine Christian hospitality and be introduced to Jesus.
On this night, our neighbors will walk directly onto our campus. Let’s receive them with open arms and Christlike love. Alongside friendly, non-spooky decorated trunks, games, and candy, our primary aim is eternal:
- Sharing the Truth: We will hand out Gospel tracts, gift Bibles, and share personal invitations to our Sunday worship services and mid-week ministries like AWANA.
- Building Community: We are hosting carnival games, giving out plenty of treats, and welcoming our local law enforcement and first responders to connect with neighborhood families.
Our prayer is that the warmth, generosity, and love our guests experience will soften hearts, plant Gospel seeds, and bring families back through our doors on Sunday morning. On what can be the darkest night of the year, let’s be the light!

- Host a Trunk: Bring a vehicle with a fun, creative, family-friendly design (no spooky or evil themes).
- Donate Candy: Drop off bags of individually wrapped candy in the church foyer.
- Gospel & Welcome Team: Distribute Bibles, Gospel flyers, and ministry invitations.
- Game Hosts: Run carnival games and interact with kids and parents.
- Traffic & Safety: Guide parking and assist pedestrian flow safely.
- Volunteer Support: Deliver water and refill candy to our volunteers throughout the night.
