Local Ministry, Hope For Humanity is hosting an event called: Jackets for Juniors. This will be an event with many vendors and booths to promote local ministries and resources to those who are low income or in need of services or support to overcome life’s challenges. Our Grace Church Celebrate Recovery will be present to offer hope and resource to people on December 7th @ Austin Park in Clearlake.
The ministries goal is to provide over 200 jackets to kids who are in need. Each jacket is an opportunity to build relationships, share the gospel and welcome others into a church fellowship. We are partnering with Hope for Humanity to provide as many jackets as possible. This Christmas you will have many opportunities to give, will you consider donating a new or like new jacket for a child age 0-16? If you are unable to buy a jacket, you can also make a check out to Grace Church Kelseyville and we will go and buy jackets to give out. All donations of jackets or funds will need to be received by December 1st as the event is on December 7th.
This is a great partnership for the church as we aim to show the love and kindness of Jesus to a world that desperately needs Him.
Along with Jackets for Juniors, we are also receiving food to stock up our food bank in Lucerne, and receiving funds to provide resources needed in Northern Lebanon for those who are fleeing war in Southern Lebanon, making gift boxes for Operation Christmas Child. We will be sharing more about other giving opportunities this Christmas. Make sure you check your email or keep looking at the church website.
