Last Saturday, our church campus was filled with joy and laughter as we hosted our Fourth Annual Christmas Toy Giveaway.
While we were blessed to give away hundreds of toys to children in our area, the day was about so much more than plastic Nerf guns and plush animals. We set out to create a truly fun, welcoming family atmosphere, and it turned out incredible!
From the moment families arrived, they experienced Christmas festivity. Kids played games while waiting in line, and everyone enjoyed hot chocolate, coffee, donut holes, and candy canes. It was wonderful seeing faces light up as they snapped photos with our special guests: Olaf, a Snowman, the Grinch, the Reindeer, and the Gingerbread Man.
However, the heartbeat of this event wasn’t just the festivities; it was the opportunity to invite our community to walk through our doors and interact with our people. We want our neighbors to know that this is a place where they belong.
The spiritual impact of the day was truly humbling:
- Nearly 400 Bibles were placed into the hands of children and families.
- Dozens of individuals stopped to receive prayer from our team.
- Every single person received a personal invitation to return for church services and other programs.
To everyone who volunteered, donated, and helped make this event great: Thank you.
We love our community deeply, and our greatest desire is for them to know the hope we have in Jesus Christ, our Savior. Last Saturday was a beautiful step toward the mission of making Christ known in Lake County.
