Easter Goals

Mar 18, 2026

This is really me – your pastor – explaining for my people what I hope they’ll do.

#1
Sit in the front middle of the room, WORSHIP PASSIONATELY, and respond to your pastor’s preaching.
10 people like that can change the atmosphere of a whole room and lift hearts heavenward.

#2
Look for people who seem new, WARMLY greet them, and ask if they wanna sit with you.
New people do not care as much about lights and sound systems. People would rather be LOVED than WOWED.

PROTIP: don’t ask “Are you new?”, instead ask “How long have you been at Grace?”

#3
Before you even arrive, begin praying for the Presence of God to fall on services.
Encounter > Argument. If someone argues you into faith, a better argument can get them out. What people need is an ENCOUNTER with the living God.

#4
Invite people. Studies show ~80% of Americans would say “yes” if invited by a friend to an Easter service.
It doesn’t have to be cringey, just shoot a text like this: “Hey man, our fam is headed to Grace Church this weekend, and honestly it’s always so good for us and our kids. No pressure, but if y’all don’t have any place yet, y’all wanna sit with us??”  I was just talking with someone this past Sunday and Easter of 2025 is their church anniversary of when they told someone “yes” to attend with them.  Who is  next?

BONUS TIPS: I’ll love you even more if you silence your phone, go to the bathroom before (instead of during) the service, and wait until the end to leave (rather than leaving during last song).😊

Sunday church attendance is a Saturday night decision.  When you invite a neighbor, it typically takes 3 invites before a commitment to attend occurs.  Start now!

We have three services on Easter Sunday.

  • 7am-Sunrise Service (in the backyard)
  • 9am-Regular Service Time
  • 10:45am Regular Service Time
  • Note: Egg hunt between the 9am and 10:45am services
  • Snacks in between all services.

Please know that your church staff is praying for you to be emboldened to invite people and courageous in sharing your faith with a lost world.
