As women, we tend to find ourselves constantly on the run. Between family responsibilities, friendships, careers, church commitments and the endless list of other things vying for our attention, our days are packed. Yet, even when we have everything “under control,” many of us still feel exhausted, anxious, or discontent. We try to fix it by simplifying our schedules, buying something new, or planning the next vacation but the restlessness remains.
What if our deepest struggle isn’t a time-management problem, a relationship problem, or a circumstantial problem? What if, at its core, it is an awe problem?
This fall we will be stepping away from the noise and chaos of life to refocus our minds and hearts. We will be diving in to what it means to truly be in awe of God. We’ll learn that God designed us for awe and He designed this world to leave us in awe and wonder of Him! Yet, so often sin creeps in and causes us to be spiritually blind. Causing us to stand in awe of everything but God and we end up looking to the created to bring us peace, identity, and contentment instead of looking to the creator.

This year at Women’s Retreat, Katie Mollett will be our keynote speaker! We will look at the root cause of our awe problem and how it directly affects everything we think, say and do. We’ll learn how to identify the things in our lives that cause our spiritual blindness. And we’ll talk about some practical ways to recover and protect our spiritual sight.
We hope you join us at this year’s Women’s Retreat, October 9-11, at Hartstone Bible Camp 17856 Van Arsdale Road Potter Valley. It will be a weekend full of fun and fellowship as we unplug from the noise of life, connect with other women and dig into Gods word together.
