A new series is coming!!! Love Life!
They talk about their love life at church? Well, we talk about God’s desire for your love life at church! This week we kick things off with the guys! You will lead by example. This Sunday we talk about the code of a godly man. We will identify 8 characteristics of a man of God. Ladies, you may want to get your man to church this Sunday. Here they are:
- A MAN OF GOD PRIORITIZES HIS WIFE
- A MAN OF GOD SMELLS GOOD
- A MAN OF GOD IS A MAN OF INTEGRITY/CHARACTER
- A MAN OF GOD’S WIFE IS HIS STANDARD OF BEAUTY
- A MAN OF GOD VALUES/TREASURES HIS WIFE AND TREATS HER AS VALUABLE
- A MAN OF GOD IS EMOTIONALLY INTIMATE WITH HIS WIFE
- A MAN OF GOD IS FINANCIALLY SECURE
- A MAN OF GOD IS A MAN OF SEXUAL PURITY
Certainly, there are more than these eight things that can be characteristics of a man of God, but these are the takeaways from our time in Song of Solomon 1-2. Do you know a couple who could use a good challenge from God’s word? Invite them! Just a reminder though, this series is somewhere between PG-11 and PG-13, so parents will need to decide if their kids are ready for this topic.
Ladies…don’t think that you are going to get off easy. Sunday, Aug. 16 th is our focus on 4 characteristics of a godly woman. The guys had their moment in the spotlight, and you will have yours the following week. Come ready to be challenged and uplifted.
