Announcing Our 2026 All-Church Study: “Set Apart by Grace”

Nov 12, 2025

We are thrilled to announce Grace Church’s 2026 all-church study, “Set Apart by Grace.”

Many of you will remember the incredible season of growth we shared during our “United in Grace – 50 Days of Discipleship” two years ago. We are building on that experience with this new, 6-week study.

Once again, the church will provide every attender with a book, created by Paul Mollett and Brent Smith, and we want to encourage the entire church to participate.

This study is created with YOU, our church, in mind. We have been planning and creating this content for a long time, and we believe these are greatly needed truths for our people, designed to continue our growth and build up the body of Christ.

Key Details

  • Series Kick-off: Sunday, February 8, 2026
  • Length: A 6-week study. The book contains 42 daily devotionals with Scripture readings, reflection questions, application tasks, and optional resources for further study.
  • Daily Study Starts (Day 1): Monday, February 16, 2026
  • Daily Study Ends (Day 42): Sunday, March 29, 2026
  • Books Available: We will have books ready for you in mid-January.

Why This Study?

The goal of this series is to help us deeply understand two important aspects of God: the holiness of God and the grace of God.

As humans, it’s easy to misunderstand these concepts. We can underestimate God’s pure and almighty holiness, or we can misuse His grace as a license for things it was never intended for. This study is designed to bring us back to the truth, helping us understand the reality of both and giving us tools to practically live out our faith for the glory of God.

Together

“Set Apart by Grace” is not meant to be a solo journey. It is designed to be done in partnership with others.

The daily devotionals, reflection prompts, and application tasks are built for discussion. You will gain the full benefit of the material through the community and accountability that comes from processing it with others.

To that end, just as we did in 2024, we are encouraging all Bible Studies and Small Groups to consider taking a break from their usual format and studies to focus their attention on this material together.

What to Expect?

During this series, we will:

  • Discover God’s ultimate design for humanity.
  • Explore the depths of God’s character.
  • Examine the “Holy Spaces” referenced in Scripture.
  • Take a deep dive into the true meaning of God’s grace.
  • See how God restores holiness in His people.

Sunday sermons during the series will lead us into the themes we will be exploring in our devotionals for the coming week.

How You Can Prepare

Here are three simple ways you can get ready to join us on this journey:

  1. If you are in a Bible Study or Small Group, start discussing now how you can incorporate this study into your schedule.
  2. If you are not part of a group, this is the perfect opportunity! We strongly encourage you to join one. You can also find a friend or a group of friends to complete the study alongside.
  3. Once the books are available (mid-January), pick up your copy. Before the series begins, we ask you to read the commitment request, the introduction, and complete “Day Zero – Analysis.” This is an important time of self-reflection to prepare your heart and mind for the study.

A Quick Note:

What happens if you start falling behind or need to take the study at a slower pace? Do not worry!

This study was created to be repeated, and it essentially has no timeframe. With our last all-church study, we saw people work through the series over a matter of months. Others started it a year later, and many have repeated it to help ground the concepts into practice.

This is exactly what we hope will happen. This journey isn’t about just filling our minds with knowledge or getting through it quickly. Knowledge that is not practiced is useless. Our goal is transformation, not just completion.

We are incredibly excited to learn alongside you. More information will be provided as we get closer.

If you have any questions about our upcoming series, please talk with Pastor Brent Smith.
