COMMON QUESTIONS:

What should I pack? Sleeping Bag & Pillow, Toiletries & Towel, Flash Light, Warm Clothes, Bible & Pen, Snacks to share, Hiking Shoes (if interested), and maybe a Board Game to play during free time.

How do I get there, and do we drive together? Check-in is between 3:30-6:00pm. Dinner on Friday is at 6:00pm. Women drive themselves to Hartstone Bible Camp (17856 Van Arsdale Rd. Potter Valley, CA 95469). However, many will arrange carpooling, and others have extra seats if you need a ride. Let us know if you need help getting there or if you are open to taking others with you.

What is available to do during the free time on Saturday? We encourage you to stay at Hartstone throughout the weekend. There are many activities to do on-site including volleyball, horseshoes, pool table, shuffleboard, archery, ping pong tables, hiking trails, fishing, campfires, pond, river, and many comfortable areas to sit and chat with other ladies. Start talking to other ladies to find out what they are doing. We will coordinate activities based on interest.

Can I bring an RV or tent? Yes, you can! There are plenty of RV hookups and a tent can be placed anywhere on the property.

Do you have food allergies? Hartstone is willing to serve individuals with allergies, but they MUST email the Food Service Manager kyrstyn@hartstonebiblecamp.org before arrival. Hartstone does not accommodate complicated diets. If you have severe allergies, you may want to consider bringing your own supplemental food. The kitchen is not a guaranteed celiac or nut-free facility. There is a fridge/freezer and microwave available for your use. Please note that special allergy diets could incur a fee of $5 per meal/per person.

What about teens? Since this is a Women’s Retreat, there is no assigned teenage leader. Moms, if your teen is a mature senior in high school and you want to use this as a discipleship opportunity, please contact us for accommodations.

How can I help? Email Kim Ewing at women@gracechurchkelseyville.org and she will be happy to get you involved.

If cost is the only issue, please let us know before deciding you can not come.

On this page, you can register, pay, find out information about the retreat, and read through common questions. A few weeks before the retreat, we will have a table under the tent at Grace Church where we can help you register, select a room, and answer any questions that you have.
